Steve has over 30 years experience in managing design and construction projects. He is the author of "HOW TO GET PAID For Construction Changes," which was published in 1998 by McGraw-Hill, and numerous articles on scheduling, estimating, cost control, dispute resolution and project management. He is a nationally recognized expert in critical path scheduling, dispute resolution and construction claims.

John Costello - Vice President and Senior Project Manager
John has over 30 years experience as an owner’s representative on a broad range of major developments, from concept to completion and operation. He has worked with governmental and private developers on multi-use, high-rise towers, residential subdivisions, and industrial and commercial projects. He is an expert at investigations of construction deficiencies and resolution of disputes on commercial, industrial and residential building construction. John offers clients the full range of owner representative services, project intervention, claims avoidance and forensic project analysis.

Gregory Mockford, AIA - Vice President,
Greg provides Pinnell/Busch expertise in three areas of project management: owner's representative, architect and project manager. He fully understands the perspectives of the owner, architect and builder. Greg has more than 29 years of experience managing, scheduling, and designing a range of public and private construction projects. As a Senior Project Manager of 17 years and head of the construction defects division for small residential to large commercial projects, Greg provides project team leadership, expert testimony mediation and develops and manages construction CPM schedules.

Blake Marchand - Senior Project Manager
Blake has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a diverse professional background in construction management, CPM scheduling, construction defects, estimating, claims, dispute resolution and litigation. His various project experience and training in civil, commercial, institutional and industrial projects gives him the ability to work effectively with architects, owners and contractors in complex environments.

David York, AIA - Senior Project Manager
David York, a licensed architect, brings more than 30 years experience in project management, design, construction defects and building envelope construction. His architectural design background ensures a solid attention to detail in defects investigations and envelope construction. David has served in diverse professional environments in a range of project types including commercial, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family, educational, health care and churches. David offers our clients services in envelope design, defects investigations, analysis, expert witness and remediation for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Robert Harp - Project Manager
Robert is a member of the construction defects team. He has 16 years of experience as a construction manager on projects ranging from single family homes to commercial buildings. He possesses a strong insight for investigating construction defects disputes for attorneys, insurance adjusters and homeowners. Robert is able to determine the scope of repairs as well as code requirements and investigative reports. He is available to provide expert advice to clients and attorneys, as well as expert testimony for mediation, arbitration, and at trial if necessary.

Heather Steele - Project Manager
Heather brings a diverse educational and professional background to Pinnell Busch, Inc. With two degrees from the University of Montana and a professional background in strategic communications, quality control, purchasing and operations management, Heather's cross-functinal skill set seamlessly integrates with the construction industry. Heather is able to provide our clients a multitude of services including contract negotiations, cost and code analysis, scheduling, and repair and field investigations.

Tony Martinez - Project Manager
Tony holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon. With experience both as an architectural intern and as a paralegal, Tony's diverse professional background provides Pinnell Busch with a unique skill set and understanding of legal issues in the construction industry. Tony offers our clients a wide range of services, including; drafting, claims investigation, code research and architectural analysis.

Patrick Melvin - IT Manager and Graphic Designer
Patrick is Pinnell/Busch's IT Manager with over 12 years of experience.. He developed the firm's graphics division to include informative demonstrative exhibits, 3-D modeling and video production. He assists project managers with site visits, pictorial documentation, estimating and scheduling.

Shelley has over 17 years of skills and experience in marketing, advertising, graphic design and communications. Shelley is responsible for the Pinnell Busch newsletter and website.

Terry Pinnell - Senior HR Consultant
Terry has over 15 years of Human Resources (HR) experience as a HR Director, Generalist and Specialist for major corporations. Terry consults with the firm's clients, helping avoid and resolve employee relations and other HR issues. She provides support in employee recruitment and interim staffing, retention, employee relations, policies, compensation, leaves of absence, job descriptions, performance appraisal development and conflict resolution.
